Not for all the love in the World" The Thrills.

Thank goodness I have an extra roll of film(36).
I suddenly have this idea of taking a photograph in my bedroom.
The thought came when I was touching my Graduation night dress.
This is how I take my photographs. If I'm not inspired or anything, my photographs will either come out boring or have lousy subjects.
Anyway, I'm quite excited about this. And the thing is, I have to take it in the morning(with the sun spilling into my bedroom, everyone who comes in my room knows that it's rather dark, because of where it's located).
The sun spilling in will only cause part of the window to be bright. So it's perfect.

My cheeks have this light pinkish tint, due to the fact that I did some electro-(I have no idea what comes after it) procedure at the dermatologist's.
It looks kind of cute(excluding the red spots), I dont even need to put on blush. Not now anyway.

I finally watched Matrix Revolution. The thing I like about this whole movie, is that the idea of the world being sort of like a "fake", and in order to be free, you have to be unplugged, is really eccentric.
The person who thought of this is quite a genius. I'm sure there are people in this world who wonder whether what we are, where we are & who we are is a lie.
The action scenes are very graceful, perfect and at the same time, very heart-gripping.
When I watched The Matrix & Matrix Reloaded last time, I didn't even know who was Jada Pinkett Smith.
But obviously, now I know(She was in Collateral). I think she is one of those beautiful black woman.

I'm currently reading White Oleander(by Janet Fitch).
It's one of those books which I wanted to read since a year ago.
Upon reading the first page, everything is very surreal.
Take this line for example, "The Santa Anas blew in hot from the desert, shriveling the last of the spring grass into whiskers of pale straw. Only the oleanders thrived, their delicate poisonous blooms, their dagger green leaves.......................... 'Oleander time', She said. 'Lovers who kill each other now will blame it on the wind'".
I can imagine Alison Lohman and Michelle Pfeiffer, sitting in the darkness of the night, their blond hair blowing with the wind, sort of being their own world.
The book also sort of remind me of The Bonesetter's Daughter. Take this line;
"I gazed at the white oleanders she had arranged on the coffee table that morning, three clusters of blossoms, representing heaven, man and earth, and thought about the music of her lovers' voices in the dark, their soft laughter, the smell of the incense. I touched the flowers. Heaven. Man. I felt on the verge of something, a mystery that surrounded me like gauze, something I was beginning to unwind".
This is going to be an interesting book, for sure.

Elizabethtown is set to be released on July 29th, 2005(wide), according to movies.yahoo.com
But I'm not sure about S'pore though.
I'm getting rather anxious. I'm afraid the movie wouldn't be shown in S'pore.
So far, I haven't seen any poster of it yet.
I'm excited for this film as I am excited for Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind last year.
I remember dragging Amanda to watch the film.
In my mind, I was just thinking;'Whatever it is, I HAVE to watch it'.
The fact that it isn't a well advertised film in S'pore meant that not much of my friends are ecstatic about it.
To me, the fact that it has an all-star cast(Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst & Elijah Wood), it has an interesting and unique plot(it's about erasing certain memories from your mind), and every review I've ever read about it were constantly praising the film(Most of it was a five-star rating), means that I just have to catch it, no matter what.

I can't stand it when I miss movies. Like The Jacket & Wimbledon(only to give a few examples).

I think almost every girl likes the colour pink. It's probably a very "girl thing"(God, that sounds so cheesy, but I just have to say it).
For me, I dont really like hot pink. I like feminine pink(like a light shade of girly pink).
I'm so crazy about this colour that I just bought a bra from Tangs the other day in this shade of pink(very pale, peach like pink).

I haven't buy a new school bag, new pencil case etc...
-Gives a huge sigh-.

Broody
Your word is: Brooding. You are a true thinker and
often try to figure out the meaning of life,
why we are all here etc. You may not be so
social, and often think twice before acting but
those thoughts you have in your mind never stop
flowing in. Sometimes you can be so
concentrated you forget about other things that
you have to do. Don't change, this world needs
deep people.

What dark word represents you? (anime pics and 7 outcomes)

Adventure
You need adventures.
Real life has been very boring for you and you
can't help but dream away. Nothing is exciting
or fascinating in your life and can't
understand why it all is so dull. You like
having fun, but are probably not a bouncing
person because of that. There is a probability
that you either like to read/watch fantasy or
similar genres, or have a creative side that
lets you release your fantasy world.

Feel Good Inc." Gorillaz.

I am so happy that OC is finally back on today.
Nowadays, I've been eating a lot(as in really, A LOT).
I had four ham & bread for supper.
I think I'm really over-eating.

I saw the perfect black dress at FCUK.
It's absolutely gorgeous. The length is right, the cutting is perfect.
But, it's a little too translucent. And, it's 99 bucks.
But for a dress that perfect, 99 dollars is worth it.

I need to get a new bikini. Hopefully, a white one with colourful patterns on it.
I used to get worried that if the bikini straps are too thick(like my current one), my skin will look awful after tanning.
But that was last time. I use to like tan skin. But now, I practically worship fair & pale skin.
So currently, I have no worries over the thickness of bikini straps.

When I first smelled the scent of the Bvlgari lotion(which is sitting in a basket, un-used, in the drawer), I was rather against using it.
But after I tried applying it on my feet, the scent wasn't that strong after 10 minutes, and the scent became so nice. It's perfect to use before I go out with my friends.

Another film which I can't wait to catch: Fantastic Four.
I mean, come on, I'm sort of a Marvel comic movie fan.
(I watch Spiderman, X-Men & Hellboy).
I like to watch movies when the characters have these special powers(Especially Pyrokinetic sort of powers).
And this Fantastic Four film seems pretty interesting. All I look for in this sort of movie is action, cool powers, & the usual romance.
It's funny, how almost every film have romance.
But as Adrian says, romance is the most basic fundamental thing of a human being.
That, I can understand.

I just finished reading Marie Antoinette.
It's strange how when I typed Marie Antoinette, I almost typed Madame Antoinette(that was how Louis XVI calls her).
I felt that the way she died was so cruel(they chopped off her head).
Not only that, they treated her without any respect, and they separated her from her children. Which is heartbreaking.
The way she clung on to her son, and refuse to let him go,despite the fact that they threatened to hurt her.
She only let go of Louis Charles when they threatened to hurt her daughter(Marie Therese).
It's strange that I feel sympathetic towards a Quee(because I disapprove of the monarchy system).
548 pages, finally finished. It was hard to get through because of the dates and the amount of information packed into a single page.

I really like this dress worn by Natalie Portman. It looks like it's those one piece from a vintage store. It's just so cute, and you don't catch another celebrity wearing this same dress.
