Faded beauty queens" The Thrills.

I'm enjoying my free time(Work has finally ended, thank goodness).
Dont get me wrong, it's not that I dont enjoy it or anything, it's just the whole waking-up-early routine & going-to-bed-early stuff......
I dislike it because I like to stay up til' 4am, watching DVDs and doing my things.......
It's nice having peacefulness, and being alone... It gives me my own space.
Sure, maybe I do miss talking & joking with my colleagues & earning money(while most of the time, I listen to music, reading my magazines & books.........).
Anyway, I think I need a time off from work.
I've been working from December to March in Haagen Dazs, (a short break in March because of my trip to Ireland/London, which I so enjoyed), and I almost immediately started work at AIA three days after I reach S'pore.
So of course, I'm feeling... free, now.

Anyway, Star Wars is such a fantastic movie!(I can't believe I am actually saying this..).
I remembered saying on my birthday that only freaks watches Star Wars. Haha.
I told Sarah "Oh my God, I can't believe this, but I'm actually really into Star Wars now."
She's like "Sukyi, you are a freak now".
Hahaha.
And it's all because of Hayden Christensen. I remembered seeing him in magazines, and thinking to myself "Now he looks like a typical American boy-next-door(I know he's Canadian).. that's so unattractive".
But seeing him as Anakin Skywalker on TV(Star Wars ads), it was like he's so dark, his eyes exudes a certain sort of terror, which is really attractive.
In the second Star Wars, he's like a wooden actor, too young..
But in the third one(with his new haircut and absolutely perfect body), he's like this mature grown man (he IS married in the show to Padme), and in such a conflict...
He is just so hot, especially when he was marching in front of his "troops", it's like, He's so in charge.. A darkness has fallen over him that made him really attractive & hot. Natalie Portman is really lucky.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the film. The action is perfect.
The love story is amazing(even though I know it's not the point of the whole saga)..
It was saddeningly touching when Padme was close to death, and her last words were "I know there's still good in him, I know it.." to Obi-wan.
And Anakin was still thinking of her at the end... Anakin is like.. dead, and Darth Vader has taken over him..

Anyway....................... I've been buying clothes.. Haha.
Right. I thought this top from Topshop to try on for fun(it wasn't extremely cheap, because it's 49 dollars). I didn't think I'll really buy it.
But putting it on made me feel good about myself. Most of the clothes I have makes me feel good about myself..
It is strange, I know. Seeing it on the racks I didn't think I was in love with it or anything, but after wearing it, it's a different story. So I just bought it.

I finally got the bra I so wanted from Tangs(it was on a discount).
It's this baby blue coloured one, a little translucent, and mini(very very mini, in fact) hearts all over it.
It's such a cute bra. okay so maybe it's really perfect as a bra(if you know what I mean), but I can't help it, I like it so much I have to own it.

I just downloaded The Thrills' Not for all the love in the World.
The song is so sentimental.. I really like it. (I got attracted to the song while watching The OC).
It'll be a great song to play while kissing your boyfriend.
It's like a modern-day fairy tale kind of song.

I'm trying to download the song Vois sur ton chemin(which means Look to your Path) from the French film Les Choristes(The Chorus)..
I think the song was sang by the orphans in the film..
It sounded sad and beautiful. It's like a mixture of crying-for-help & voices-of-hope.
Beyonce performed this song with the American Boy choir in the Oscars, but personally, I prefer the original.

I just watched The Missing yesterday(the movie that is), finally. So I can return it to Amanda.
I really admire Cate Blanchett. She's not only gorgeous & have great fashion sense, she is extremely talented(I discovered this after watching The Aviator, and of course The Missing).

Many shows I want to catch..... The Jacket(which is OVER, sadly...), Mr & Mrs. Smith, Batman begins, Bewitched, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and War of the Worlds.
