I missed the Golden Globes. Apparently, I have no SCV.
Argh.
Anyway, I got over it.

Cate Blanchett has the coolest Jean Paul Gaultier dress at the award show. I mean, she's like the best dressed.


Natalie Portman's Chloe dress is cool too. I like the shapeless cut.


I'm just so amazed by Cate Blanchett. Especially after watching The Aviator.
She is just stunning as Katherine Hepburn, and gorgeous.
People might think I'm crazy, but I think Cate is prettier than Kate Beckinsale.
The Aviator is a puzzling movie. Leonardo DiCaprio is, nevertheless, an amazing actor. The way he struggled with mental illness and all.
Oh, and Melissa is right. He was stuck in the room for days because he was too scared to touch the germ-filled doorknob.
He just reminds me of Nicholas Cage's character in Matchstick Men.
It's more like an obsessive-compulsive behaviour I guess.
Mel and Amanda says that he's like the extreme of me and Jiyi combined. Haha.
I really feel that the woman that Howard Hughes really loves is Katherine Hepburn, and vice versa.

The last part, the way it ended, it is just saddening.
Maybe it ended that way because it's telling us that Howard Hughes continuously deals with mental illness without any help.
It's sad really. And I got a little freaked out from seeing the way he struggled with his illness.
Another thing that really puzzled me is why he kept using the word Quarantine.
He keep spelling that word is possibly because he is trying to keep himself sane before he completely lose it. But why Quarantine?

A few days ago, I went to a MPH book sale.
I'm so satisfied because I bought like five books.(I hardly buy this much when I go to a book sale).
I got: To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Flappers & Philosophers by F Scott Fitzgerald.
The hours by Michael Cunningham.
Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.
Shopaholic & Sister by Sophie Kinsella.

I had to bent down to see every book(because there's no tables, and the books are all on the floor).
So my legs were aching the next day.

I'm enjoying my work-free day. Haha.
I'm just going to read and draw later.
I enjoy being lazy sometimes. Just staying at home and being laid-back.
But I really really want to go shopping.
Anyone?
